St. Louis Airport Hilton
05/24/2004: Located right near the airport in St. Louis, Missouri this Hilton hotel was quite nice. The room was nice and comfortable. The hotel had all the standard stuff from a 3 star hotel, including a pool, on-site restaurants, room service, etc.
There's not really a whole lot to say about this place. Quite simply, it was a very smooth stay. The only real complaint I have with it is that they charge you $5 for parking. I understand that you're near the airport, but if you're a hotel guest, you shouldn't have to pay for parking. They could just include it in the room price.
The area surrounding the hotel was quite busy, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't find anything to eat. There was a place called Bandana's BBQ within a half mile of the hotel. That was good enough for me. (I'm sure there were more places, but it was an extremely busy area, so I wasn't driving around much.)
Overall, I was comfortable with my stay, and even though there's a parking charge, I'd probably stay there again. Nothing disappointed me here.
