Looney
Tunes: Back in Action is a totally fun, live action movie, infused with
animated Warner Bros. characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and many
more. BTA tells the story of DJ Drake (Frasier), son of movie star
Damien Drake, trying to find his own path in life. While working on the
Warner Bros lot, he gets mixed up with Daffy Duck, who has recently been fired
from Warner Bros. Daffy follows DJ home, where they discover that DJ's
dad is being held hostage somewhere. He is instructed to head to Las
Vegas, and Daffy follows along.
Kate (Elfman), the woman who fired Daffy is forced
to rehire him back by his pal Bugs Bunny. She must track him down, and
Bugs decides to tag along. When the group meets up in Vegas, the plot
thickens, and they all decide to work together to rescue DJ's father.
Looney Tunes: Back In Action has a pretty thin
plot, but the slapstick style cartoon humor more than makes up for it.
It's a fun ride from beginning to end, and it's not a long enough movie to get
bored. The action is fast paced, and the plot moves along quickly.
It's definitely fun for kids and adults alike. I would be crazy not to
recommend picking up a copy.
