Dirty Work

Starring: Norm McDonald, Artie Lange, Jack Warden, Chevy Chase

Studio: MGM Home Entertainment

Dirty Work is a moving with one of my favorite underrated actors, Norm McDonald.  He plays Mitch, an guy who always seems to be down on his luck.  Early in the movie, he gets fired from his job, and loses his girlfriend shortly after.  While seeking refuge at his friend Sam's house (Lange), he finds out that his Sam's dad (Warden) needs a heart transplant.

Sam tries negotiating with the surgeon (Chase) in order to get a heart transplant for Pops, but the guy wants $50,000 to pay his bookie off.  To make matters worse, they need to earn the money quickly, as the surgeon's life is being threatened.  Mitch won't let his best friend's dad go down so easily, so he immediately decides to help Sam earn the money.

After not being able to think of any ways to make money this quickly, Sam and Mitch begin to talk about old times.  They talk about how they used to never let anyone push them around, and how they always got revenge on people who did them wrong.  Then it hit them...  a revenge for hire business!

They opened a revenge for hire business called Dirty Work Inc, and began to work fast to earn the money needed for the operation.  This is where most of the hilarity ensues.  Most of their revenge is good clean fun for the boys and the audience.  Of course, any movie won't let things get this easy, as Dirty Work Inc tangles with a greedy tyrant by the name of Travis Cole (Christopher McDonald).  He decides not to pay for Dirty Work's services, and that doesn't sit well with Sam & Mitch.  They decide to exact revenge.  The laughs keep on coming, and things get very interesting.

The movie has a few twists and turns, but nothing terribly shocking.  It's an extremely fun ride, however.  I definitely love the movie, and I bought it on DVD right away when I saw it.  It's also a value DVD, so I would recommending picking this up to anyone looking for a laugh.
